Our Mission

A Gift for the Future Children's Fund was founded with the purpose of improving the lives of American children. Through the thoughtful gifts and donations of our supporters, A Gift for the Future supports projects and organizations that have a proven record of helping the children in the greatest need.

The organizations and charities supported through the fund provide many benefits to children. The services these organizations render include:

• Creating shelters for children who have been victims of abuse
• Providing advocates, friends and roll models for children who are wards of the state
• Supporting educational programs for parents and children at risk
• Providing facilities and activities as alternatives to violent neighborhoods

How We Accomplish Our Mission

The primary purpose of A Gift for the Future Children's Fund is to raise money for the charities that fit our mission. The fund was originally organized to help our neighbors who share our goals to turn some of the things they own that may no longer be of great value to them into funds that will be used to aide the charities we support.

Of course, A Gift for the Future could never accomplish its mission without your support. There are many ways you can help us. Individuals with experience using eBay can donate a portion of their sales to our cause easily. We have prepared a simple step by step outline of how this can be done. A Gift for the Future Children's Fund is managed and run by a small group of volunteers. As such we are able to support our charities with a minimum of overhead. We also make the promise that 100% of the funds we receive from cash donations are given directly to the charities we sponsor.
